CEBU CITY, Philippines -- On June 5, 2010, JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel once again answers the call of the Philippine Red Cross in its advocacy to strengthen the dwindling blood supplies in Region 7.

Since 2007, the local organization has held an annual blood donation program dubbed as the JCI BLOOD DRIVE and to date the project has been going strong for the past four years and this year, under the leadership of President Marlon Ariel L. Polinar and the abled chairmanship of project head Dexter Samolde, SM City Cebu will once again host the blood donation advocacy.

According to Samolde, the activity will start at 10AM and will last until 5 in the afternoon.  The blood donation activity will be done at the mall’s lower ground floor of its Bldg A, between Ice Castle and Germany Solingen and across Harbour City Dimsum and Bibo Arcade.

Project partners include SM City Cebu, the Philippine Red Cross, McDonald’s, Tri-J Marketing, Nature’s Spring Water, M. Lhuillier, Y101 Radio and Sonshine Radio.
